The Ellie Palmer Con contiunes

Image
The Ellie Palmer Con continues.. So this is the type of thing that is communicated by these scammers, tactics used by Ellie Palmer, Andrew Baynes etc… The email is however quickly replaced by Skype messaging – you get a request to use Skype for further ‘and easier’ communication. The flow of conversations go something like this… And then of course the trusting element. Much emphasis is put on this... The funds apparently were being invested with the company Spotfinex, and the time, Spotfinex site was up and working, but now of course….not. There was some story as to GlobalSpotFX and Spotfinex merging into one…but either way none of them exist any longer.. Spotfinex scam site So your account manager – in this case Ellie Palmer – informs you that the trades of course are going well, and that you money is being invested safely and wisely. The account balance in your trading account (your bogus trading account) shows it to be growing, and all seems well – until of course you ask ...

Ellie Palmer scammer   The next stage of the game was the involvement of this Ellie Palmer. (Again, just to confirm all the names here I’m using are the ones they gave me – that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are their real names…..) So the rest of the communications were with my allocated ‘Account Manager’ Ellie Palmer who promptly advised me that she would be using the Spotfinex platform to invest my money with, and I would track my investments using a program on my PC that was installed, called 2DotsMT4 Basically you launched this program and it tracked the the performance of your investment (or at least the investment your account manager, Ellie Palmer in this case) This was, as you’d expect, bogus. This was just a bunch of numbers they manipulated in order to show the ‘great’ returns they were making… Initially mentioning that she was from GlobalSpotFX, then SpotFinex the emails from Ellie Palmer look something like this, something to the tune of:   ...

Victor Martini

Victor Martini Scammer So as I mentioned initial calls from this Victor Martini, then subsequent emails were very insistent and direct. Below are some emails from him – note the non-specific company email address: On Monday, 13 July 2020, 17:14:11 BST, victormartini.78 <victormartini.78@protonmail.com> wrote:     Hi George,   We scheduled an appointment for 4:30 PM and you didn't answer. I can understand that we are both busy men but it's on your advantage to be part of these ongoing projects.   You asked me to prove that my information were accurate and I gave to you information about Tesla and Amazon shares.   Because of your lack of time you lost the opportunity of taking advantages from this information.    However, I have other projects running this week that I'm going to share to my clients. Worth emphasizing Tencent Holdings company and Tesla new project that is going to have huge volatility on the price. ...

The Con and the players

Andrew Baines The Con - How it works From memory this all began with an unsolicited call from the aforementioned Victor Martini, which I initially brushed off. No idea where he got my name and mobile number from, however he mentioned that I had registered some interest in forex investing (which I had not) and was pretty insistent that this was a lucrative opportunity. So basically from what I can work out – and what happed to me - the idea is that the you get contacted initially by someone offering you an opportunity to invest, even if it’s a small amount of money, then you get allocated an agent or ‘account manager’ who will do the investing for you. Initially only small amounts of money are requested, and profits are made and sent back to you and they start to earn your trust so you invest larger sums of money, which then of course they ultimately disappear with. All transactions are done via Crypto Exchanges (like Kraken or Binance or whatever) so never bank-to-bank, so ...

Spotfinex and Gobalspotfx scam

Image
I have put up this site in order to share my experience with dealing with Spotfinex and specifically someone called Ellie Palmer – just to warn anyone who would be considering dealing with this company or this person to keep well away from either of them. This would also include some others as well that were involved in this scam, a certain Victor Martini and Andrew Baynes – all these people being callous, unscrupulous individuals colluding together to steal money from unsuspecting victims Stupidly I got conned by this team of con artists with the main protagonist being Ellie Palmer as I had more dealings with her than with anyone else. This Ellie Palmer was apparently the Account Manager who was be dealing with my investment and she was somehow linked to GlobalSpotFX (at least that’s what her email address was) while using Spotfinex platform to trade my funds apparently. Unfortunately for me I discovered other negative reviews and comments about Spotfinex and also Ellie ...
