The Ellie Palmer Con continues..

So this is the type of thing that is communicated by these scammers, tactics used by Ellie Palmer, Andrew Baynes etc…

The email is however quickly replaced by Skype messaging – you get a request to use Skype for further ‘and easier’ communication. The flow of conversations go something like this…



And then of course the trusting element. Much emphasis is put on this...


The funds apparently were being invested with the company Spotfinex, and the time, Spotfinex site was up and working, but now of course….not. There was some story as to GlobalSpotFX and Spotfinex merging into one…but either way none of them exist any longer..

So your account manager – in this case Ellie Palmer – informs you that the trades of course are going well, and that you money is being invested safely and wisely. The account balance in your trading account (your bogus trading account) shows it to be growing, and all seems well – until of course you ask for some money to be withdrawn… Then the stories start:



And then the big story comes....



The trading platform they're using, Spotfinex is now under investigation for fraud reasons...and the money is tied up. All of Ellie Palmer clients funds are now inaccessible...and no-one knows when this will be resolved.

The story is that some clients have now got lawyers involved in order to get their money back...and even Ellie Palmer has the gall to say that she has instructed her lawyer to fight this as her money is also tied up!
