Ellie Palmer scammer

 

The next stage of the game was the involvement of this Ellie Palmer. (Again, just to confirm all the names here I’m using are the ones they gave me – that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are their real names…..)

So the rest of the communications were with my allocated ‘Account Manager’ Ellie Palmer who promptly advised me that she would be using the Spotfinex platform to invest my money with, and I would track my investments using a program on my PC that was installed, called 2DotsMT4

Basically you launched this program and it tracked the the performance of your investment (or at least the investment your account manager, Ellie Palmer in this case) This was, as you’d expect, bogus. This was just a bunch of numbers they manipulated in order to show the ‘great’ returns they were making…

Initially mentioning that she was from GlobalSpotFX, then SpotFinex the emails from Ellie Palmer look something like this, something to the tune of:

 Also, a number of ‘sympathy’ type emails are also received from Ellie Palmer….again I guess this is part of the game to gain your trust, sympathy, perhaps make look more human (which they are not… at least not in the consideration sense…)

When Ellie Palmer was questioned as to why she was using a private, gmail email account she replied ‘for convenience’ and then started to use the SpotFinex address..
